Start The Damn Thing

"Excuses are like a**holes, everybody has one." - Someone smart

The above quote might register with a lot of people I know. I know for sure it registers with me. We all get lazy sometimes and when it's time to start something we reach in our bag of excuses and pull out the first one we can find.

"It's raining out so I'll start tomorrow."

"I'll start my diet on the first of the month this monday."

"I can't look for clients on social media because my phone is broke."

We can get very creative with the excuses when it's time to start something. In all seriousness there is never really a good time to start. I know bloggers who are dying to start their blogging journey but are too scared to put their selves out there. Talented singers who for years have been trying to get their music out there but are too scared to post singing videos to Instagram because they are worried about what people will think.

My advice is to 'Just Start The Damn Thing' and be fearless. I've come to the conclusion that everyone is not going to like your blog, music, clothing line or your artwork. Some people will hate for no reason at all and that's okay (we don't care about them). If you're passionate about it the put yourself out there and jump. If you don't do it now you will regret it in the long run. Days turn into weeks, and weeks will turn into months full of excuses. People will love what you have to bring to the world so make sure you be yourself and stay authentic. I BELIEVE IN YOU, SO YOU NEED TO BELIEVE IN YOU ALSO.
